MAKING SPACE FOR LIFE
Space Exploration for Earth Regeneration

4th ALPHA MISSION - ΔELOS
Global Gathering
14 & 14 May 2026

The 4th ALPHA MISSION – ΔELOS Global Gathering, held on the sacred island of Delos, explored the connections between space exploration and the regeneration of life on Earth. Bringing together perspectives from space science, the arts, and artificial intelligence, it fostered a multidisciplinary dialogue grounded in a shared commitment to planetary well-being.

Inspired by Delos as an “island of light,” the gathering reflected on the importance of place, memory, and heritage, while underscoring the urgency of protecting fragile ecosystems. The dialogue extended to the role of space technologies and scientific innovation in addressing global challenges, highlighting how insights from exploring the cosmos can support life on our own planet.

At the same time, the arts were recognised as a vital force in shaping ecological awareness and collective responsibility. Children from the International Sustainability Education Network “Myth2Space” also contributed by spreading the urgent message to protect life, underscoring the mission to create a new ecological paradigm.
